Sally has worked in the restaurant industry for more than 15 years. Between 1989 and 2002, Ms. Gravat worked in several family restaurants. She joined Cameron Mitchell Restaurants in 2003, beginning as a Server at Mitchell’s Fish Market. Ms. Gravat then moved up to Bartender, Supervisor, and eventually Manager. In 2005, Ms. Gravat opened Mitchell’s Fish Market in Rochester, Michigan, where she served as General Manager. Later, she became the General Manager of Cameron’s Steak House in Birmingham, Michigan. Ms. Gravat leads by example and takes a hands-on approach. She earned the Leadership Award from the Cameron Mitchell Restaurant Company, and has a proven track record of leadership skills. Ms. Gravat’s creative blend of expertise has given her the vision to create a mini version of an american chop house style restaurant like Vast Kitchen & Bar where she lives, breathes, and promotes her mentor Cameron Mitchell’s words, “Yes is the answer, what’s the question?” Sally has taken what she has learned to a whole new level.
